ImageForge 1.1.3: now on Windows, and a smarter batch on Mac

ImageForge 1.1.3 is our biggest release since launch. It's the first version to run on two platforms: alongside the Mac App Store, ImageForge is now on the Microsoft Store as a native Windows app — powered by the exact same 100% on-device engine. And on both, the everyday flow just got smarter: a running batch now grows as you add images instead of starting over.
ImageForge for Windows is a native WinUI 3 app, not a port or a web wrapper. It runs the same Rust compression engine as the Mac app — lossless by default, no account, no cloud, no telemetry — and it debuts directly at version 1.1.3.0, so both platforms move together from here. Drag, drop, done, now on Windows 10 and 11.
This is the change you'll feel every day. Before, dropping a new image onto a finished batch cleared it and started over. Now, dragging in more images — or adding them with + (⌘O) — appends them to the queue while a batch is running or after it's done. Anything already in the list is skipped, so you won't get duplicates, and Clear is there whenever you want a fresh start. It's the same on Mac and Windows.
Inspired by ImageOptim, every file now shows its size on disk the moment it's queued — not only once it's been processed. You can see what you're working with before anything runs, and each row still updates to the honest before → after · −XX% when it finishes.
The Profiles editor got two small but overdue fixes. You can now delete custom profiles you no longer need, right from the editor, and cancel a new or duplicated profile before saving so it doesn't linger in the list. We also dimmed “Show in Finder” when a batch spans several source folders, so it only offers to reveal a single, unambiguous location.
Two platforms, one engine — and not a single pixel leaves your computer on either of them.
Whether you're on a Mac or a PC, ImageForge is free, native and 100% on-device: your images never leave your computer, and the app works fully offline. Pro stays a one-time purchase — never a subscription. Grab 1.1.3 on the store for your platform and drop in a folder.
Free on the Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store — the same on-device engine, both platforms.
